The Dustless Technologies D2415 SawBuddie is a dust shroud for use with reciprocating saws, fitting most models. The saw is placed inside the shroud and secured around the collar of the saw with a velcro strap. A vacuum is attached at the back of the shroud to create suction within the shroud, removing dust as soon as cutting takes place. For full installation, see the video above. When used with a Dustless Technologies D1606 HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum, the SawBuddie complies with EPA standards for dust containment. Included in this kit is (1) SawBuddie, (1) 18″ hose (for adapting from the shroud to the vacuum), and (1) releasable tie (used in attaching the vacuum hose to the saw for unobstructed work).
